Employees tap in with a fingerprint scanner, the system logs their exact time, computes hours rendered, flags lates and absences, manages leave requests, and exports payroll-ready DTR reports | all without a single paper logbook.
Paper logbooks, buddy punching, and zero accountability.
ZTK was running attendance on handwritten DTR sheets | employees signed in themselves, managers manually tallied hours at end-of-month, and late arrivals often went unrecorded. Buddy punching (one employee signing in for another) was a known issue with no way to catch it. Payroll computation was a multi-hour manual process every cutoff period.
What was needed was a system that tied attendance directly to a person's biometrics | no proxies, no manual tally, no paper to lose.
